As a kind of radar passive jamming equipment, shipborne radio frequency (RF) corner reflector system has been widely installed in the major naval warships of various countries. In order to support the systematic development of Chinese shipborne corner reflector equipment and accelerate the technological innovation of radar-guided anti-ship missiles, the research status and development concept of the two types of corner reflector equipment are reviewed: floating type and airborne type. On this basis, four development trends of shipborne corner reflectors are analyzed and summarized, including launch integration, launch automation, decoy multifunction, and decoy maneuverability.

For intercepting highly maneuvering targets, an integral sliding mode guidance law with finite time convergence is proposed based on the integral sliding mode control theory. A radial basis function (RBF) neural network disturbance observer with adaptive parameter adjustment is used to estimate the disturbance of the guidance system caused by the target maneuver. In order to further improve the estimation accuracy, the adaptive law is used to eliminate the estimation error of the neural network observer. According to Lyapunov stability theory, the stability and finite time convergence of the guidance law are proved. The numerical simulation shows that the guidance law proposed in this paper has excellent performance both in miss distance and in the control accuracy of missile and target line of sight angle.

Shao-rong PENG, Sheng-liang HU, Jiang-hu XU, Lin-gang WU
Modern Defense Technology    2022, 50 (3): 78-83.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-086x.2022.03.010

Aiming at the problems of traditional chaff centroid jamming, a "chaff chain" operation method is proposed based on "depolarization" phenomenon and "large target" effect. Based on the application scenario of chaff chain, the relationship between deployment length and deployment situation is further analyzed, and the operation method of chaff chain against secondary attack anti-ship missiles is proposed. The operational style has been verified in practice to effectively counter the new anti-ship missiles which have the capability of chaff identification and secondary attack.
